Big Trees.
STEADY HANDS.

Call for a Quote on That Tree

A leaning oak over the garage. A stump that's been in the way for years. Storm damage that won't wait for a slow week. M.R. Tree Service has been climbing Eugene's trees since 1987, one job at a time.

Trust Built the Slow Way

  1. 39 Years. One Owner. Mike Rose started M.R. Tree Service in 1987 and still runs it himself.
  2. A+ With the BBB. Zero Complaints in Three Years. M.R. Tree Service holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, with zero complaints closed against them in the last three years.
  3. Started With a Truck and a Chainsaw. In 1987, after climbing timber for a logging crew, Mike Rose started the business with an old Ford pickup and a single chainsaw. The fleet has grown since, bucket trucks, chip trucks and chippers, bobcats and stump grinders, but it's still one owner on the job.

What Happens When You Call

  1. Step 01: You Call, We Look

Tell us what's going on: a leaning tree, storm damage, a stump that's been in the way for years. We'll walk through what a job like yours involves and get you a quote.

  2. Step 02: Access, Rigging, Safety

On site, the crew works out how to reach the tree safely, rigging lines and clearing a path for anything coming down near your house, your fence, or the power line.

  3. Step 03: Cleanup and Haul-Away

Branches get chipped, the wood gets stacked or hauled, and the yard gets left the way you'd want to find it.

How This Got Started

"In 1984, I became a climber on a logging crew, but, by 1987 the logging industry was struggling, and I needed to find more stable employment. So, with an old Ford pickup and a single chainsaw, I started M.R. Tree Service."

Mike Rose, owner

That hasn't changed since: do a quality job for a fair price, and people will call you again. The truck and the single chainsaw grew into a fleet, bucket trucks, chip trucks and chippers, bobcats and stump grinders, but it's still the same job Mike started in 1987.
